Immiticide, the only approved heartworm treatment is currently unavailable. It is not known when this drug will be available again. We cannot stress enough the importance of giving your dog a monthly preventative, now more than ever! If your dog is not on a preventative, we urge you to have him or her tested immediately and get medication. If your dog is on preventative, it is especially important to be diligent in keeping them on heartworm preventative.

Our mission at Noah's Ark Animal Hospitals is to provide the highest quality veterinary medicine possible at reasonable prices. Noah's Ark Animal Hospitals offer preventive and wellness care for pets, and complete medical, surgical, and dental services. We have a complete pet pharmacy including prescription diets as well as our TLC boarding and grooming services.

We have two fully staffed hospitals to provide support for all your pet's needs. We are amongst the few hospitals in Virginia that provide overnight supervision for hospitalized and boarding pets. Our Night Nurses work Mon- Fri and we have a Licensed Veterinary Technician and Veterinarian on call until 11pm for after-hours consult in case of an emergency. Our staff regularly attend continuing eduction seminars to remain at the forefront of the veterinary practice.
